Pasión. Motivación. Inteligencia.........
Por
qué he elegido esas tres palabras? Muy simple; esas
tres palabras significan mi sentir por el tenis,
encierran mi expresión diaria hacia éste deporte el
cuál abracé allá por 1976 en mi país de origen
Argentina.
Pasión ......por estar en una cancha cada día,
por enseñar a jugar tenis, por observar a los
alumnos mejorar y sonreír......pasión por aprender,
por estudiar, por investigar; en fin por tratar de
ser un poco mejor cada día.
Motivación.....creo que Dios me ha dado el
don para motivar a la gente y hacerla sentir que
puede mejorar y disfrutar más de éste hermoso
deporte.
Inteligencia.....estoy convencido de que no
se puede jugar mejor al tenis sin pensar; es por
naturaleza un juego para inteligentes, observadores,
creativos, audaces. Mi humilde tarea es guiar a mis
alumnos a entender más y mejor el juego, no caben
dudas de que de esta manera lo gozarán muchísimo más.
Dicen que los verdaderos maestros INSPIRAN a las
personas, si así es,

Guillermo Vilas fue mi
inspiración y por supuesto el de todos los
argentinos (y de otros países también) que por
aquellos años ‘70 empuñamos una raqueta por primera
vez y nunca más la pudimos ni la quisimos dejar.
Guillermo reunía esas tres palabras que yo luego
tomé como estandarte: Pasión (Vilas mostraba
auténtica pasión por el tenis); Motivación (motivaba
jugar al tenis después de verlo jugar) e
Inteligencia ( además de su conocida garra ,Vilas
fue muy inteligente para jugar tenis).
Dios quiera que desde éste sitio en Internet pueda
colaborar con mis colegas en distintos aspectos de
la enseñanza del tenis ; además mi meta es
entretener a quién desee informarse sobre distintas
facetas de nuestro deporte y aportar datos, tips ,novedades,
comentarios que sean de real interés para los
amantes del tenis. Desde aquí quiero agradecer y
mencionar a las personas que me han ayudado y
apoyado incondicionalmente en mi carrera como
profesional de tenis:
Mi madre ; mi esposa Bettina ,mis hijos, mi hermana
Graciela , mis amigos y alumnos que me permitieron
compartir con ellos un sitio muy especial en mi vida....una
cancha de tenis.

Passion. Motivation. Intelligence.
Why have I chosen these three words? It is very simple:
these three words characterize what I feel about tennis.
They encompass my daily sentiments about the sport that I
embraced for the first time in 1976 in my native Argentina.
Passion... the passion of being on a court every day,
the passion I feel to teach tennis, the passion I feel when
I see my students improve and smile, the passion I feel to
learn, to study, to investigate... the passion to improve
every day.
Motivation... I believe that God has given me a gift
to motivate people and help them to feel that they can
improve and enjoy the wonder of this great sport.
Intelligence... I am convinced that no one can play
better tennis without learning how to think better. By
nature, tennis is a game for the intelligent; those who are
observant, creative and daring.
My humble task is to guide my students towards a better
understanding of the game. There is no doubt that they will
enjoy it more with every new discovery.
It is said that the true teachers are those who INSPIRE
people.

That being said, Guillermo Vilas was the inspiration
for myself, so many other Argentines and others all over the
world. So many of us picked up racquets in the 70's because
of his inspiration and we have not wanted to put them down
since. Guillermo embodied these three words that I have
taken as my standard.
It is my hope that this from this website I may collaborate
with my colleagues in different aspects of teaching tennis.
In addition to this, my goal is to help train those who
desire more knowledge about the different facets of our
sport and to be able to provide data, tips, novelties and
commentary that will appeal to real lovers of the game.
Special thanks to the people who have helped me and
supported me without condition in my career as a tennis
professional: My mother, my wife Bettina, my children, my
sister Graciela, my friends and former students... all of
whom have allowed me to share with them a very special
place: a tennis court.
